2009 Canadian Geriatrics Society Report
DESCRIPTION:
This four-module interactive CME program, focused on the themes of advances in influenza vaccination, osteoporosis therapy, hypogonadism (comorbidities and treatment risks), and key learning principles for geriatrics trainees, is based on select proceedings from the 2009 Annual Scientific Meeting of the Canadian Geriatrics Society. These materials were chosen and CME components constructed according to identified practice needs relevant to Canadian geriatricians and other health practitioners, enabling them to better pursue evidence-based practices that enhance the quality of specialty care.
ACCREDITATION: This program is designated as an Accredited Self-Assessment Program as defined under Section 3 of the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (15 hours). Members of the College of Family Physicians of Canada may claim Mainpro-M2 credits for this unaccredited educational program.
